What a combo!
Two icons from the golden era of DRM racing, standing side by side.
The legendary 1978 Schnitzer BMW E21 Turbo in the famous Sachs Motorsport livery, driven by Harald Ertl to the 1978 DRM championship. Next to it, the 1979 car driven by Manfred Winkelhock, one of the most spectacular touring car drivers of his generation.
Both machines were powered by the brutal Schnitzer-developed 1.4L turbocharged BMW 20-4 engine, producing over 400 horsepower in a chassis weighing under 900 kg.
