Today is a special date for me for more than one reason.

April 30th is not only my father’s birthday, but also the anniversary of Land Rover — a brand that has been a shared passion between us for many years.
From family memories to working every day on these iconic vehicles in our workshop, Land Rover has always been more than just a car to us. It represents heritage, adventure, and craftsmanship.

Happy Birthday Dad, and happy anniversary to Land Rover.

Today we installed a roof rack with an LED light bar on this Defender 90, along with additional lighting integrated into the rear bumper.
A clean and functional upgrade, enhancing both visibility and capability.

🚜 LIONS CLUB TIELT 4x4 EVENT 🚜
ZONDAG 28 JUNI 2026

Dit jaar gaan we voor onze 4️⃣editie 4x4 ROADBOOK langs vlaamse wegen!

We focussen ons op: veiligheid-plezier-4x4 experience-ontdekking-vriendschap & zoveel meer 🔝
Een route doorheen het Vlaamse land met respect voor de natuur en de omgeving 🏔️

Het is de bedoeling dat ook diegene die zijn SUV dagelijks gebruikt ook eens zijn wagen kan testen. 🚘
Er zal telkens de keuze gemaakt kunnen worden om de meer technische parcours al dan niet te doen.

We starten vanaf 8 uur in Hooglede-Gits (Garage Land Rover Salens, Bruggestwg. 227) met een héérlijk ontbijt. 🥐
Dit jaar rijden we in de ochtend richting Westhoek-Flemish Fields met een apero stop regio Pilkem, daarna komen we terug naar Egem voor een 1ste passage door de kleiputten om dan aan te schuiven voor een lekkere BBQ 🥩🍗
In de namiddag wordt de Off-Road Tour verder gezet met een uitdagende route met een 2de passage door de kleiputten, een offroad parcours in Tielt en een NIEUW 3de offroad parcours (surprise 💥💥)

Bij terugkomst in de kleiputten kan U nog nagenieten van deze mooie dag aan ons 4x4 CAFÉ voor een gezellige babbel en muziek. 🍻
