Chiara Morellini - Colour & Trim Specialist Piaggio Group - unveils the Making of Vespa 75th, which started with the concept: Vespa is an icon. The Vespa 75th special edition colour was insipred by the gorgeous colour that stood out from research on ads from the 1940s: sapphire blue, ruby red and sulphur yellow. The number 75 is applied to the Vespa, through tone-on-tone colour, and through graphics. The number is large and partially cut off becoming a decorative element.
