Two mistakes can throw off your oil level check.

And in performance, wrong readings lead to wrong decisions.

Mistake 1: checking on an uneven surface.
Mistake 2: measuring too soon after switching off the engine.

Do it right:

Park the car on a level surface.
Let the engine rest for a few minutes.
Pull the dipstick, wipe it clean, insert it again, then check the level.

Simple? Yes.
Important? Always.

⚠️ Three signs your lubricant may be wrong!

Is your lubricant still doing its job? Watch for these warning signs:
1. 🔊 Unusual noise or vibration
2. 🌡️ Rising operating temperatures
3. 🛢️ Lubricant that degrades or discolours faster than expected

These symptoms do not automatically mean the lubricant is responsible, but they are a good reason to review the product, application and maintenance interval. Small signals can prevent expensive problems.
