Sodi W Series - SWS Final 24h Endurance 2026

The below graph shows the relative distance in secs of the Top 10 teams relative to the winner PF Racing over the 24h but without penalties applied. It shows how close this race was all the way to the end and how impactful the 1 lap penalty for Eiriz Racing Suisse and Matrax Racing really were. Without these penalties it would have been a fierce battle till the end between PF Racing and Eiriz Racing Suisse for the win as well as a close batlle between Joker Team and Matrax Racing for 3rd place which might have given opportunity for NEO GKOC to join the fight.

The vertical line around 500 laps is when PF Racing lost an extra 23 secs in the pitstop when they initially forgot to transfer the transponder.

Genk 24h 2026 - Race analysis

Strategy turned out to be crucial to reach the podium ! With a red flag caused by heavy rain/hail and more rain during the last 2 hours of the race, choosing when to make the 32 pitstops made all the difference (as well as consistent fast laptimes during the whole 24 hours obviously). The red flag followed by a safety kart restart showed a big gain for some (including Dely Waffles Racing Team) and loss for others (TKR) but the most important part was making as much pitstops during full rain as possible as each pitstop under full wet conditions gains you 30 secs. Many teams were caught out by a fast drying track after the safety kart restart and by pitting too early when the rain started very lighty near the end of the race as the gain at that point was only 10-15 secs per pitstop. BF Motorsport still had 15 pitstops to make when the rain started (4 more than most teams) and made the most of it, resulting in a well deserved podium finish (P3).

Bel-Amis Racing made 7 pitstops right after the red flag/safety kart which basically secured the win for them. The track dried out much faster than expected, leaving most other teams with just 4 pitstops in the wet at that point.

The gain/loss during the red flag/safety kart phase was determined by 3 factors: 1) position on track when it started to rain. 2) how many laps the team managed to complete before the red flag. 3) whether coming into the pit at that point was recorded as a valid pitstop. Dely Waffles Racing Team completed 4 laps in the wet and when they then came into the pit it recorded as a valid pitstop. Most other teams only managed 3 laps and no pitstop was recorded for them at that point. This explains the big gain Dely Waffles Racing Team got after the restart: 1 extra lap + 1 'free' pitstop.

The graph below show relative position between the Top 7 teams. The Y value is the difference in secs between a team and the winner Bel-Amis Racing. The big vertical bar is the red flag/safety kart restart. You can clearly see the huge gain Dely Waffles Racing Team got, the lead of Bel-Amis Racing after the restart and how the positions changed dramatically near the end when it started to rain again. Any of the P2-P6 teams could have reached the podium at that point.

Congrats to the Podium:

P1 Bel-Amis Racing
P2 TKR
P3 BF BF Motorsport

Data analysis of the Karting Campillos 30H Endurance.

The graphs show the relative positions of each team compared to the eventual winner GKOC Levelap. X axis is laps, Y axis is in secs. Pitstops are compensated so it shows actual relative positions independent of pitstops. A big vertical bar means a team taking a 2 min penalty. The big vertical bar in the middle of the race is the safety kart procedure to switch directions. You can see some teams gaining, others losing time during that procedure.

As you can see, PF Racing had a 60+ secs lead at the safety kart procedure and actually made some gains during the switch. But they consistently lost time and were past by the 2 local Spanish teams around 9am on Sunday and then later around 2pm by Eiriz Pro.

We were within the Top 10 till about 12 hours into the race but unfortunately lost too much time after that.

Race report Campillos 30 hours: Finished P14 / 48 teams !!!

Joined up with Panthaa Racing for this very tough race against some of the World's best Karting Endurance Teams. Target was Top 15 but with so many strong teams even that was a real challenge which did not allow for any mistakes. It didn't help that the race was in 2 directions and our drivers only had less than 30 mins to train per direction on a completely new track.

Luckily we had a good kart to start off with. Bran took Q1 and put it in P3 which considering the opposition was simply a top class performance !!! Daniel took Q2 and put us in P8 which got us in Q3 which was our main goal. Q3 was a 1 lap qualify and Lucas put us in P9 to start.

Bran took the start and quickly moved up to P7. He then managed to stay with the top group and finished the first hour in P5, only seconds from P1. Again a top class performance !!! Next 6 stints Daniel and Lucas alternated, followed by Bran. Even with a few slower karts, after 6 hours into the race we were only 25-30 secs from the winning team and around P10-P12 so looking very good. But still 24 hours to go...

Mid race, after 15 hours of racing, a safety kart procedure was introduced to switch directions. All teams were scrambling to put in additional pitstops to try to avoid losing time. Worst position is to be P1 on track as everyone will gain time on you. Best position is just in front of P1, basically almost a lap down, as then you can gain almost a whole lap on P1. We ended up in the middle, gaining some time on some of our direct competitors. Lucas took this stint and survived the chaos of the restart quite well, especially considering he only had 24 mins of training in this reverse direction on Friday while competing against strong local drivers on their home track.

Unfortunately the reverse direction proved to be a bigger challenge for most teams. At the turnaround point PF Racing was leading by over a minute. By 9am on Sunday they got passed by the 2 local teams and around 2pm by Eiriz Pro. We lost significant time over night as the karts were clearly degrading, and we didn't have much luck getting good enough karts to fight back. Near the end we were P16/P17 but close enough to P14/P15 to challenge them. Bran took the final stint and with again a great performance caught up and overtook our direct competitors so we could finish P14 !!!

All in all this was a great experience where we got to compete against some of the top teams in the world. Great performance from all drivers and team managers for this great result.

Shout out to all the staff of Karting Campillos for a truly great event: race director, marshalls, mechanics, catering, everyone was given it their best for the full 30 hours. Pitstops were smooth every time, mechanics joking with drivers while making sure everything runs smoothly. Penalties may be harsh but fair. And where else can you get a cappucino and sandwich at 4am in the morning?

Congrats to the Podium: P1 GKOC Levelap - P2 Levelap GKOC - P3 Eiriz Pro

And thanks to Panthaa Racing for inviting us.

We finally done it !!! Genk 6 hour Endurance - P1 !!!

After receiving about every possible penalty or loss of time in previous attempts, we finally managed to complete a 4/6 hour race with no mistakes, great and well executed strategy and ofcourse great driving from both Bran and Lucas. Result: a dominating win where we even had room for the typical 1 lap penalty😅as we crossed the line with a lap and a half advantage on P2 and 3 laps on P3/P4. The rain at the end helped us to build that gap since we still had 3 pitstops to complete where all other teams had less, but that is part of the strategy.

Next race: 30H Campillos together with Panthaa Racing.

P3 @ Karting Genk: Home of Champions 4 hours

Joined up with Bran Van Den Eynde for this race. Bran qualified P2 on just 2 thousands of a sec. He also started the race and worked together with Panthaa Racing VZW for the first hour to build a 16 sec lead on P3. Then disaster struck: at the first pitstop we lost 53 secs !!! Somehow re-fueling was taking forever (30-40 sec per kart) this time. TKR escaped cleanly and Panthaa Racing VZW lost only 10 secs so we now had a big gap to close. Lucas took the 2nd stint with a so-so kart but managed to keep P3. When Bran took over he had to pit 4 times to finally get a good kart. At that point we were P5 but Bran us got back to P3 and build a nice gap to P4. Last 30 minutes Lucas took over but unfortunately got a really bad kart with the left front tire completely gone, barely making 1'12 laptimes. So the gap to P4 decreased quickly but we still managed P3. Great drive from both drivers !!!

Congrats to Panthaa Racing VZW P1 and TKR P2.

P1 @ 100 Miles Karting Genk: Home of Champions 🏆🥇

Karting Genk 100 Miles with 49 teams - many of them amateur teams participating for fun, which turned out to be major challenge as some of them acted as 'Moving Chicanes' - going so slow it was generating dangerous situations at times. Just watch the YouTube video on our channel Karting4U.

Anyway got Pole and got away well. Worked together with SG5 Racing for a while but he lost contact because of slow backmarkers pretty soon. At first pitstop we had a gap of 9 secs to P2 and 23 secs to P3. Then Utah took over with a medium kart and managed to keep P1, eventough Project M&E had a top kart and was closing in quickly for some time. Won by 12 secs on P2 and 23 secs on P3. 🏆🥇
