A day driving a Cobra is a day well spent!

There is a lot I can say about this car but there is so much more I can tell about its owner.
It was a real privilege to have been part of his life and I’m still grateful I was given the opportunity to restore and drive this piece of automotive history.

Schaamteloos!

In 2009 ontwikkelde ik de eerste HY met Volvo B230 motor, handgeschakelde 5-bak en schijfremmen. Een prachtige conversie die feilloos functioneert en bovendien zeer homogeen is, fabriekswaardig ei zo na.
Ergens rond 2015 kwam Ramon met zijn HY bij mij langs om eenzelfde conversie te laten uitvoeren. Het moest budget vriendelijk, dus alles deftig lakken en netjes afwerken kon niet.

Vandaag maakt mijnheer grote sier met en flauw afkooksel van mijn idee. De wereld van HY is klein en ik weet uit betrouwbare bron dat het ding voor geen meter marcheert en slecht afgewerkt is.
