🚨 Leadership change at Arval: Annie Pin to become CEO

A major move in the European leasing industry: Annie Pin will succeed Alain van Groenendael as CEO of Arval on 1 April 2027, becoming the first woman to lead the company.

Pin joins from Ayvens, where she served as Chief Commercial Officer and member of the Executive Committee. With experience spanning risk, country leadership, electrification, commercial strategy and the ALD–LeasePlan integration, she will now help shape Arval’s next strategic chapter.
She will join Arval for an induction period from 26 October, working alongside Alain van Groenendael before formally taking the helm next April.

After more than eight years as CEO, Van Groenendael will remain President of Arval’s Board.
For Fleet Europe, he explains why Annie Pin was selected, reflects on his eight years at the helm and shares what comes next for Arval as the company prepares its 2027–2030 strategy.
