Ulyanovsk residents have chosen a sketch for a mural celebrating the 85th anniversary of UAZ!

🎨The sketches were developed as part of the "UAZ: Art of Movement" art lab, a joint project between the Creative Industries Fund of the Ulyanovsk Region and the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant.

The wall of building 16 on General Melnikov Street is being transformed into a vibrant art object.

🏭The mural will bring to life pages of the plant's history, legendary UAZs, and the people who created this history.

Every UAZ owner is a nomad at heart. But nomads come in all shapes and sizes! Take the Teleuts, for example, considered by many to be the most ancient people of Siberia. Their camps are located in the Upper Ob and Altai Mountains—in short, in lands where the endless steppes stretch. Driving skills aren't enough; you also need to choose your steed wisely. And, of course, an all-terrain vehicle is essential. The descendants of the freedom-loving Teleut princes, hunters, and herders mostly live in permanent homes, but the ability to conquer the vast expanses is still in their blood.

Some people think that wandering through the forest, running up and down steep slopes, and romping around in the mud is something only wild animals enjoy. There's something to that!
