In 2002, Ferrari introduced the 575M Maranello as the successor to the 550. The letter 'M' stands for Modificata, referring to a major series of technical updates.
The absolute revolution of this model was the electro-hydraulic F1 automatic transmission. This made the 575M the first-ever front-engined V12 road car from Ferrari to feature paddle shifters behind the steering wheel.
This technological milestone was so popular that approximately 1810 units rolled out of the factory with the F1 gearbox.

Under the hood lies a naturally aspirated 5.75-liter V12 engine that, thanks to a drive-by-wire digital throttle, delivers a brutal 515 hp and 588 Nm of torque. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 4.2 seconds, and acceleration does not stop until reaching a top speed of 325 km/h. To perfectly control this power, Ferrari introduced an intelligent, active Skyhook suspension and vastly improved braking systems.

Let’s take a closer look at the RUF SCR present on display at our stand during the ZOUTE GRAND PRIX .
The new owner of this magnificent machine opted for a historical touch. The car is finished in X-Blue, the exact color of the legendary racing helmet worn by Jacky Ickx, which also famously coated the Porsche 992 'Belgian Legend Edition', a tribute to Ickx himself.

It is a stunning shade that appears almost black in the shade, but truly pops with vibrant blue under the right spotlights!
It pairs beautifully with the brown Alcantara interior, perfectly finished with subtle blue accents.

The 488 Spider uses the same 3.9 litre twin-turbo V8 as the GTB, producing 670 ps at 8.000 rpm and 760 Nm, sent through a seven-speed DCT to the rear wheels. The retractable hard top consists of two panels that disappear behind the seats in fourteen seconds, and can do so at speeds up to 45 km/h. The whole assembly occupies just 100 litres of space, against 150 to 200 litres for a conventional hard top, leaving the car's lines intact. To compensate for the loss of the roof, Ferrari reinforced the chassis front and rear and reworked the aluminium alloys used. The result is torsional rigidity that Ferrari claims matches the coupé, at the cost of 50 kg.

Fun fact: the glass rear window between the buttresses moves entirely independently of the roof, across three positions. With the roof down it acts as a wind deflector, with the roof up you can lower it to hear the V8 without getting wet.

With this GT3 RS, Porsche did not chase more power or less weight, but downforce. At 285 km/h the car generates 860 kg, twice as much as the previous GT3 RS and three times as much as a standard 992 GT3.

You do not get there with a big wing alone. Porsche replaced the three radiators with one large, angled radiator at the front, a solution taken directly from the Le Mans 911 RSR. It now sits exactly where every other 911 has its luggage compartment, and the space freed up in the front wings went entirely to active aerodynamics. Even the suspension wishbones were given an aerofoil profile, contributing forty kilos of their own at top speed. There is a DRS button on the steering wheel, exactly where a standard 911 has its voice control, and alongside it you adjust the damping and the limited-slip differential on the move using rotary dials. That is something you normally only do in a race car.

This example is finished in Ultraviolet through Paint to Sample, the colour Porsche used in 2015 to introduce the 991 GT3 RS to the world.

Fun fact: Porsche puts the aerodynamics best themselves. At top speed, the equivalent of a complete 356 A is pressing down on the car.

It frequently happens that the most exclusive sports cars find their way to the market without the general public ever knowing. This Porsche 992 GT3 RS is a perfect example. The vehicle never reached the online sales channels; even before the car could officially be offered online, the sale to the new owner had already been finalized. This specific model is configured in the modern factory color Arctic Grey, combined with contrasting red accents on the wheels and body decals. To complete the track-focused specifications of this GT3 RS, the car is factory-equipped with the Weissach package.

This optional package reduces vehicle weight and maximizes chassis specifications by executing various components in visible carbon fiber. Finally, the magnesium paddle shifters with magnetic motorsport technology ensure a shorter and more direct click when shifting.
