Some cars need time before the world truly understands them. The Mercedes-Benz C55 AMG T-Modell is one of those cars.

At first glance, it’s just an understated C-Class estate. Look a little closer — or simply start the engine — and everything changes.

Under the bonnet sits AMG’s naturally aspirated 5.5-litre V8, producing 367 hp and sending its power to the rear wheels. No turbos. No four-wheel drive. No oversized wings. Just a big V8 in a relatively compact family estate. Exactly the kind of recipe that made this era of AMG so special.

But this particular C55 has another story to tell.

It was first registered on September 27, 2004, with its first registered owner being none other than Mercedes-AMG GmbH in Affalterbach. Its original German registration even carries the famous address: Daimlerstraße 1.

Was it a press car? A demonstrator? An internal AMG vehicle? The documentation doesn’t allow us to say for certain — and we prefer facts over assumptions. What we do know is that this C55’s story literally started at AMG itself.

From there, it passed into private ownership and built up an exceptionally well-documented history in Germany and later Belgium, accompanied by its original service book, Mercedes-Benz invoices, maintenance records and official inspection documents.

And then there’s the rarity. Only around 4,600 C55 AMGs were produced, with just 595 believed to have been T-Modell estates.

A rare AMG.
A naturally aspirated V8.
Rear-wheel drive.
A beautifully documented history.
And an original registration to Mercedes-AMG GmbH.

For us, this is exactly what makes a great youngtimer: a car that stayed under the radar for years, only to become more interesting as the automotive world changed around it.

Some Ferraris take you straight back to a time when driving was still pure, mechanical and unfiltered.

The Ferrari 348 TB is exactly that. A naturally aspirated V8 mounted right behind you, rear-wheel drive, and a manual gearbox operated through that unmistakable open-gated shifter. No driving modes, no paddles — just you and the machine.

Finished in the iconic combination of Rosso Corsa over Nero leather, this 1992 example has covered just 64,000 km and has had only four owners from new.

But what truly sets this 348 apart is its history. Delivered new in Germany through Ferrari dealer Auto Becker Düsseldorf, it later moved to the Netherlands, where it spent almost 20 years with the same owner. Since 2001, Kroymans Ferrari has been a constant throughout its maintenance history, with an exceptionally comprehensive file of Ferrari invoices, service records, inspections and registration documents accompanying the car.

A major service was carried out at the end of 2024, including a new timing belt set, followed by further maintenance at Kroymans in 2025.

More than three decades after leaving Maranello, this 348 TB represents everything we love about analogue Ferraris: timeless Pininfarina design, a naturally aspirated V8, a gated manual gearbox and a history that can be traced throughout its life.

Pure Ferrari. Pure emotion.
