You could explore the charming Northern Sporades islands - experience the famous beaches and cosmopolitan nightlife of Skiathos, savour the natural beauty and traditional cuisine of Mamma Mia's island, Skopelos, or encounter one of the rarest marine animals, the monk seal, at the Alonissos marine park, as well as the dolphins that frequent the crystal clear blue sea surrounding all of the islands. There are direct flights to Volos (and to Skiathos) from many European cities. Otherwise, it is easily accessible by road from Athens (320 km - 3 hours drive by car) and Thessaloniki (200 km - 2 hours drive).
