During a recent visit to Transuniverse Forwarding in the Port of Ghent, our new colleagues had the opportunity to see their logistics operation in action.

With 37,250 m² of warehouse space, 70 dock shelters and connections to 30 European distribution platforms, Transuniverse plays an important role in European road transport, with strong routes to Portugal, Türkiye, Greece and Spain.

CEO Frank Adins introduced the team to the company and its position in the logistics market, while Warehouse Manager Christophe Malfait gave a behind-the-scenes tour of the daily operation, from loading and unloading to labelling, storage and the handling of ADR and dangerous goods.

And throughout the site, several ICTS trailers were part of that operation.

For ICTS, visits like these are enormously valuable. The better we understand how our customers work, the better we can support their fleet, their operation and their business.

Starting a new job should mean more than receiving a laptop and finding your desk.

They visited several ICTS branches in Belgium and the Netherlands, stepped inside the workshops and MOT halls, learned more about finance, marketing, rental, service and operations, and even joined a customer visit to Transuniverse Forwarding in the Port of Ghent.

Because the better you understand the company, the operation and the customer, the stronger your start can be.

Driving north this winter? Don’t let the wrong tyres stop your trailer at the border. 🛞❄️

Winter rules for heavy vehicles and trailers differ across Europe, with stricter requirements in countries such as Sweden and Norway.

That’s why ICTS already orders the tyres on its rental trailers with the M+S marking, with selected tyres also carrying the 3PMSF symbol. And because tyres can be replaced during a rental period, the markings are checked again during every outcheck.

Planning a trip to Norway, Sweden or Finland? Let us know before departure and our workshop team can give the trailer an extra winter check, including tyres, brakes, air system and lighting.

Summer may be over, but there has been no shortage of activity at ICTS.

In this edition, we look back at what has been happening across the company over the past few months.

New colleagues got to know ICTS from the inside, including a visit to Transuniverse in Ghent. KRONE stopped by our workshop in Ghent, while new Talson mega garment trailers joined the ICTS rental fleet.

Through the ICTS Academy, our teams also continued developing their skills with training from eduMAX and Atrium Opleidingen.

Our collective leave is approaching!

Refurbishment as a top priority at ICTS ♻️

ICTS recently completed the rebuild of several second-hand mega curtainsider trailers into mega flatbed trailers. Instead of taking the trailers out of circulation, the united were adapted for a new purpose and prepared for a second life with the customer. Converting the trailers from Dutch to Belgian registration, updating the Certificate of Conformity from curtainsider to flatbed, and technical inspected included!

By rebuilding second-hand trailers for a new application, ICTS extends the life of equipment while reducing waste and making better use of valuable materials.

Sales Force Expansion at ICTS!

ICTS is happy to announce that it has strengthened its sales teams in Poland and the Netherlands with the arrival of Piotr Borowiec and Nick Jansen.

Piotr has joined as Regional Account Manager for Southern Poland, and Nick as Regional Account Manager for North Netherlands, covering the region above Rotterdam.
