BARCELONA BASF BEAUTY 🎯

Team WRT’s #69 BMW M4 GT3 EVO is getting another legendary makeover.

For the penultimate round of the 2026 FIA WEC, #69 will hit Barcelona wearing the iconic red-and-white BASF design, inspired by an early-eighties motorsport icon and famously seen on the BMW M1.

The livery’s distinctive circles were designed to mimic the spiral mechanics of a cassette tape.

Anthony McIntosh, Parker Thompson and Dan Harper currently sit eighth in the LMGT3 drivers’ standings, but with two rounds still to go and plenty of points on the table, it’s all to play for!

#69 takes to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on October 16th.

TEAM WRT CROWNED SPRINT CUP CHAMPIONS 🏆

Despite a challenging weekend at Barcelona for the season finale, strong results throughout the year has resulted in Team WRT claiming their 12th Sprint Cup title, in 14 seasons.

Our super crew also clinched another Pit Stop Challenge title - a sensational achievement for the Belgian-based GT3 squad!

UPDATED RACE DAY IN BARCELONA 🇪🇸

The finale of the 2026 GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has been revised, due to a severe weather warning leading to the government placing an emergency status in the region on Saturday afternoon.

Qualifying has been cancelled and times have been taken from FP2... Our BMW M4 GT3 EVO quartet have a tough battle on their hands, but we know what they are capable of!

ENDURANCE CUP WINNERS AND P2 OVERALL AT PETIT LE MANS 🏆

BMW M Team WRT's #24 trio, Dries Vanthoor, Sheldon van der Linde and Robin Frijns, round off their IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship by claiming a hard-fought 2nd place, and Endurance Cup win at the season finale at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.

Unfortunately the #25 did not reach the chequered flag due to an crash whilst running in a strong position. The most important thing is that Kevin, who was at the wheel at the time, is okay, and was cleared by the medical centre soon after the incident.

The finale of the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship is here, and what a season it’s been.

Both #24 and #25 have stepped onto the podium multiple times, including our historic win at Indianapolis last month.

These incredible achievements would not have been possible without the endless hard work from everyone at BMW M Team WRT, not just those at the track, but those back in Bierset, Munich and Charlotte also.

So, for one last time this season, ladies and gentlemen… start your engines!

Second row start for BMW M Team WRT at the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship's Motul Petit Le Mans 🇺🇸

A closely-contested GTP qualifying session around Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta saw #24's Sheldon van der Linde clinch third position, with Marco Wittmann securing a top-10 for #25 who will take the start from P9.

The season finale is set to be a thrilling 10-hour battle, heading into the night around the iconic rollercoaster circuit.

Our LMDh crew are at Road Atlanta for the final round of the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Coming off the back of their historic win at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, BMW M Team WRT is aiming to end their season on a high.

Across the pond, our GT3 crews are at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for the final GT World Sprint Cup round. We already wrapped up the Silver Class titles in Zandvoort with the #30 duo, but we still have the Overall Sprint crown to fight for with both #32 and #46.

It's going to be an action-packed thriller of a weekend!
