After এর ব্যবহার :
1. পরে বুঝাতে after বসে।
2. তাড়া করা বা পিছু নেয়া বুঝাতে after বসে।
3. কারো নামে নাম করন করা বুঝাতে after বসে।
4. কোনো কিছু অনেকবার কিংবা বিরামহীন ভাবে ঘটে বুঝাতে after বসে।
5. কোন ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুুর অনুগামী হওয়া অর্থে after বসে।
Examples:
For-1
সে আমার পরে এসেছে।
He has come after me.
সে আমার পরে বসেছিল।
He sat after me.
সে দুপুরের খাবারের পর এখানে এসেছিল।
He came here after lunch.
For-2
পুলিশ তার পিছু নিয়েছে।
The police are after him.
সে ছুরি নিয়ে আমায় তাড়া করেছিল।
He ran after me with a knife.
তারা সবাই তার পিছনে ছুটছে।
They are running after him

2. কোন পরিধির সীমানা বা সময়ের ব্যাপ্তি বুঝাতে to বসে।
3. নির্দিষ্ট সময় বা দিবস হতে বাকি বুঝাতে to বসে।
4. কোন ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুু কোনো কিছু গ্রহন করে বোঝাতে to বসে।
5. কারো প্রতি বা কাছে বুঝাতে to বসে।
6. তুলনা বা অনুপাত বোঝাতে to বসে।
7. মুখোমুখি বা স্পর্শ করে বুঝাতে to বসে।
8. পর্যন্ত বুঝাতে to বসে।

♣1 .ভিতরে বুঝতে in বসে।
Example :
→My pen was in the drawer. (ডয়ারের ভিতরে)
→We are in the class. (ক্লাসের ভিতরে।
♣2. সপ্তাহ, মাস,ঋতু,বছর, সাল, শতাব্দী ও সহস্রাব্দের পূর্বে in বসে।
Example :
→He will go in March.(মাস)
→She was born in 1995.(বছর /সাল)
→We like to travel in winter. (ঋতু)
→He was the first king in the 19th century. (শতকে)
→I shall go to Dhaka in the first week. ( সপ্তাহে)
♣3. অবস্থান অর্থে বড় স্থানের পূর্বে in বসে।
Example :
→I live in Rangpur.(রংপুরে)
→Bangladesh is a country in Asia
♣4. কোন পাঠ্য বিষয়ের গভেষণা বা অধ্যয়ন করা বুঝতে সেই বিষয়ের পূর্বে in বসে।
Example :
→He studies in Accounting.( হিসাব বিজ্ঞানে)
♣5. পরিধান করে আছে এমন বুঝতে in বসে।
Example :
→The boy in blue shirt is my friend. (নীল শার্ট পরে)
♣6. অবস্থা বা মানসিক অবস্থা বুঝতে in বসে।
Example :
→The family is in danger. (অবস্থা)
→He is in a very bad mood. (মানসিক অবস্থা)
