This is the yearly fixed update fee for a 25 year old suv in current Bangladesh. Because it is the 2nd vehicle registered under the owners name it has 100k extra AIT from it’s already ridiculous 200K per year which I have to pay in someone else’s name who has already sold the car so I can’t adjust it. 2nd is the ridiculous environment surcharge proposed by the AL regime and implemented by the interim govt. I kindly bring to the attention of the govt to revise these for such old cars which have already finished paying right through its lifecycle. These should now be lifetime tax paid. We are saving resources by not spending on new cars so please be a bit more caring towards us in these difficult times.

Always remember value for money is different for everyone. Don’t expect to put in 30 lacs into a 5 lac car and expect people to pay 35 maybe because they would like it their own way! But do it the way the factory did it and you’ll have everyone’s attention. restoration. Many people have budgets. Some chase only perfection.
