গাড়ির ইঞ্জিন ওভার হিট হলে কি করবেন?

গাড়ি রেগুলার চালান এমন লোক খুব কমই আছেন যে রানিং অবস্থায় হিট কাটা আচমকা হাই হয়ে গিয়েছে এমন পরিস্থিতির শিকার হননি।

চলুন আগে জেনে নেই কি কারনে ইঞ্জিন ওভারহিট হয়। অনেকগুলো কারণে ইঞ্জিন ওভারহিট হয় তারমধ্যে

১) ইঞ্জিন এর ভিতর পানি বা কুলান্ট যথেষ্ট না থাকার কারণে ওভারহিট হয়।

২) রেডিয়েটর, হোস পাইপ লীক করে পানি বা কুলেন্ট পড়ে গেলে ওভারহিট হয়।

৩) ওয়াটার পাম্প কাজ না করলে ওভারহিট হয়।

৪) ফ্যান বেল্ট ছিড়ে গেলে বা ফ্যানের লাইন ছেড়ে গেলে ওভার হিট হয়।

৫) কুলান্ট এর পরিমান কম থাকলে ওভারহিট হয়।

৬) রেডিয়েটরের পর্যাপ্ত পরিমাণে বাতাস না লাগলে ওভার হিট হয়।

৭) রেডিয়েটর ক্যাপ খারাপ হলে ওভার হিট হয়।

এছাড়াও থার্মোস্ট্যাট ভালভ কাজ না করলে ওভারহিট হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে।

কিভাবে বুঝবেন ইঞ্জিন ওভারহিট হয়ে গেছে?

১) গাড়ির ইন্সট্রুমেন্ট ক্লাস্টারে একটা ডেডিকেটেড হিটিং ইন্ডিকেটর

থাকে যেখানে C আর H লিখা একটা ইন্ডিকেশন থাকবে কাঁটা সহ। যখন কাঁটাটা C থেকে H এর দিকে যেতে থাকবে তখন বুঝবেন ইঞ্জিন ওভারহিট হচ্ছে।

আপডেটেড গাড়িগুলোয় ডেডিকেটেড হিটিং ইন্ডিকেটর থাকেনা তার বদলে সাইন শো করবে। যদি হিট সাইন নীল বা হলুদ থেকে লাল হলে বা জ্বলে উঠলে বুঝবেন ওভারহিট হচ্ছে।

২) বনেটের চারপাশ দিয়ে ধোয়া বের হলে বুঝবেন সেই লেভেলের ওভারহিট হয়েছে।

যদি দুই নাম্বার পয়েন্ট হয় তবে নিকটস্থ ওয়ার্কশপে যোগাযোগ করুন নতুবা ইঞ্জিন স্টার্ট আর করতে পারবেন না।

ইঞ্জিন ওভার হিট হলে আপনি তাৎক্ষনিক ভাবে কি কি কাজ করবেন

১) ভয় পেয়ে ঘাবড়ে যাবেন না, শান্ত থাকুন।

২) বামে ইন্ডিকেটর দিয়ে গাড়ি ব্রেক করে দাঁড় করান।

৩) ইঞ্জিন পুরোপুরি অফ করে দিবেন। মেক সিউর পুরোপুরি যেন অফ অফ হয়ে যায় মোস্ট ইস্পটেন্টলি এসি অন থাকা যাবেনা।

৪) বনেট তুলে রেডিটের কুল্যান্ট বা পানি চেক করুন। (উল্লেখ্য রেডিয়েটর ক্যাপ খোলার পূর্ব অভিজ্ঞতা না থাকলে খুলতে যাবেন না তাতে আপনি অন্তত নিরাপদ থাকবেন অন্যথায় গরম পানিতে আপনার মুখ হাত পা পুড়ে যেতে পারে)।
আর অভিজ্ঞতা থাকলে রেডিয়েটর ক্যাপ খুলে পানি অথবা কুলান্ট দিয়ে রিফিল করুন।

নেক্সটাইম ওভারহিটের হাত থেকে গাড়িকে বাঁচাতে এই প্র্যাকটিস গুলো করবেন,

১) ঘর থেকে গাড়ি বের করার পূর্বে রেডিয়েটরের পানি বা কুলান্ট চেক করুন। লাগলে রিফিল করুন।

২) গাড়ি পার্কিং (যে জায়গায় পার্ক করেন) সেই জায়গায় পার্ক করা অবস্থায় নিচে পানি পড়ে আছে কিনা তা খেয়াল করুন। পড়লে রেডিয়েটর ক্যান লিক আছে; রিপ্লেস করা লাগবে।

৩) ১০ হাজার কিলোমিটার পড়ে পড়ে রেডিয়েটর ফ্লাশিং করুন।

যদি কখনো ইঞ্জিন ওভার হিট হয়ে যায় আর আপনার না বুঝার কারণে বারবার ইঞ্জিন স্টার্ট করার পরে ইঞ্জিন অটোমেটিক অফ হয়ে যায় তবে ইঞ্জিন কে কমপক্ষে 1 ঘন্টা ঠান্ডা করতে দিন তারপর একজন ইঞ্জিন মেকানিক দিয়ে ইঞ্জিনের কন্ডিশন গুলো চেক করান।
