Apply 1 coat, turn on the UV lamp on a 3-minute timer and – BOOM! – you are ready to sand already.

We are happy to introduce our AEROSOL UV PRIMER (Art.No: 26033)!

The new UV Primer is a high-quality, UV-drying primer for fast and economic refinishes. It can be sanded after only 3 minutes irradiation by a 400W UV-A LED-Light, a mercury vapour lamp or 4-5 minutes exposure to direct sunlight.

Substrates do not need to be heated, which especially protects plastic substrates from deforming and overheating.

▪️ UV curing eliminates the need to observe a cooling phase prior to sanding.

▪️ UV Primer is perfectly suitable for partial car coatings and spot repairs.

🔸 Very good adhesion on steel, iron, aluminum and galvanized substrates. In addition, it offers direct adhesion on the following plastic substrates: PU, ABS, PVC, PC and PS.

When you have to do a spot repair without removing the old paint layer, you run the risk the old paint will react with the new layers.

This is especially the case with older solvent-sensitive paint coatings (e.g. thermoplastic coatings, alkyd resin coatings, etc.).

To totally eliminate the risk of the old paint reacting (cracking, lifting or bleeding) use our fast-drying 1K ISOLATOR PRIMER (Art.No: 14115).

The fast-drying ISOLATOR PRIMER completely Isolates the layers of old paintwork and avoids the rupture of new layers of primer, base coat and clear coat. It will also prevent the manifestation of the contours of the old base coat.
