Shiny new Takasago mud catcher and stainless spokes supplied for a 1970 Husky. Good story with this bike… 80+ year old Bob has owned this bike from new and has set about restoring it! Hope I’m still building bikes at Bob’s vintage.👍🤔😀

Stuck somewhere between the Gwambygine dust and the depths of my chaotic imagination… the XR175 project has stalled!
Running into 6 years since I started it, I’m committed to giving it a couple of hours a week! Hopefully, it’ll last longer than my New Year’s resolutions!😂😂

I’m pretty lucky that I get to see some pretty cool private bike collections and I recently visited an old mate’s toy shed (shed being a bit of an understatement) and saw that he had used a 20ft sea container to divide the bike section from the other goodies and to build a nice workbench/tool storage system on to. It looked trick… I asked what was in the container and he said that it was the “walk in robe”. The photos don’t quite do it justice, but suffice to say, the lad does like to be organised!😂👍😳

Starting to build a steady repeat customer base for the spokes and rims and am selling more and more all the time on eBay.... but probably should be giving them a bit more of a plug for direct sales! If you've got mates that are into restos, it'd be appreciated if you could share this post with them... every little bit helps.
