THE 2026 QLD VARIETY BASH IS FINISHING IN GLADSTONE!

After 10 incredible days travelling through regional Queensland, the 2026 QLD Variety Bash will roll into Gladstone for its grand finale on Thursday 27th August, and we’d love the local community to come along and help us welcome the Bashers across the finish line!

Our colourful convoy of Bash cars has travelled from Innisfail through some incredible Queensland communities, all while raising funds to help Aussie kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with disabilities.

From around lunchtime, the Bash cars will begin arriving at our finish line in the Gladstone VMR car park, bringing plenty of colour, noise and Bash spirit with them.

Come on down, find a spot along the finish line and cheer them home!

To help us keep traffic moving and maintain easy access for our neighbours and local businesses, we ask spectators to please park on the marina side of the road and walk across to the finish area. Our Variety team and event officials will be on site throughout the afternoon to help keep everything running smoothly.

After all the hard work getting the bug up and running she still had an oil leak that outweighed the risk to continue on, so we decided to leave the bash car at Barcaldine and push on in the AW. Onwards and upwards
