With stage 4 restrictions slowly lifting, we are again able to service vehicles. Now more than ever is the time to service your vehicle to ensure that your motor is running the way it needs to (especially if you’ve been WFH or not used your vehicle much), you still need to keep your services up to date. Automotive service and repair has been classed an industry required to support essential services

BestDrive stores will be keeping the doors open (but people cant come in).

Under stage 4 restrictions we are unable to open our reception area to our customers

For the added safety of our customers and the community we are operating a 100% contactless service

Customers will be asked to call on arrival and our team take it from there

We will meet our customers on the forecourt and maintain social distance

Perform a no-touch key exchange

Sanitise all driver controls before and after

Once the job is complete the team will send a link to pay online

Invoices will be sent via email

COVID tips for your car

During this uncertain times that we are currently living in, make sure that you also look after your car. This will ensure that when you need to use your vehicle, that all your components will be working correctly. We have come up with a few suggestions to ensure trouble free motoring...

Fuel: Last’s approximately 3 weeks in fuel tanks which are vented so....
- Put min amounts in.
- Start your car daily even if you are not driving it. Let it run in your driveway while you do some chores around the house for approximately 30 minutes
- Drive it around the block make sure all your moving components on the vehicle are not seizing up.
- if you have not gone through all your fuel put octane boost (can be found at every service station) in your vehicle and top up with a little more fuel.
- Check your oil and water every few days

Doing all the above will ensure that your vehicle is there when you need it.

On the other components such as oil service, tyres etc, we recommend you still adhere to servicing recommendations as per normal.

PLEASE READ: As of 11.59pm Wednesday 7th July 2020, Metropolitan Melbourne and the Mitchell Shire will return to stage 3 restrictions for 6 weeks.

The health and safety of our customers and staff is very important to us so please feel assured knowing that we have been and will continue to implement steps to keep the workshop and your vehicle clean and that we are taking every necessary precaution.

If you are showing any symptoms no matter how mild, or are in contact with anyone who is unwell, to give us a call and reschedule your booking for a later date.

It’s definitely a crazy time we’re all living in but we can get through this together Melbourne!
