Today wasn’t just about a car… it was about making memories while we still can. ❤️🏁
To the incredible team at Penrite, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for bringing the iconic 100th Mustang to Port Albert and giving Kim, Vince and her family and our Yarram Automotive family an afternoon we’ll cherish forever.
As a proud family-owned Australian business, Penrite showed us today that family values are more than just words—they’re something you live. The kindness, compassion and genuine care you showed our family is something we’ll never forget.
A very special thank you to Nicky. From the moment this was organised, you made the entire day absolutely priceless. Your kindness, generosity and the effort you put into making this happen gave us memories that can never be taken away. We will be forever grateful for everything you did.
For anyone who knows Kim, you’ll know her love of cars started long before Yarram Automotive. Fast cars, V8s, the sound of an engine and everything automotive have always been part of who she is. Today, seeing her climb into the 100th Mustang and enjoy the ride of a lifetime was something we’ll never forget. For a little while, MND took a back seat, and all that mattered was the smile on her face.
The convoy also stopped at the Commercial Hotel Yarram so the Penrite team could experience where our MND Freeze fundraiser was held. We wanted them to see the heart of our community and the place where hundreds of people came together for such an important cause. Without our amazing community, our sponsors, our volunteers, and everyone who stood beside us, that day simply wouldn’t have happened.
Thank you for seeing her, for caring, for making the effort to travel here, and for giving our family and friends memories we’ll carry with us forever.
Living with MND means every day is precious. It steals so much, so quickly. But today it couldn’t steal the laughter, the excitement, the friendships or the joy. Today was about living, not simply existing.
To everyone at Penrite, thank you for reminding us that kindness still exists. You didn’t just bring a Mustang to Port Albert—you brought hope, happiness and memories that will stay with us forever.
