Ok people, at the risk of stating the bleeding obvious, this virus is not good. At the very least, Its disrupting the lives of all of us.
As far as the RAA goes WE are an essential business so it's business as usual and providing you are not in isolation or haven't been exposed to the virus, we will attend and help as usual. If your car needs a tow, we will tow the car but we are not taking passengers in the truck or RAA car so arrangements will need to be made for picking up drivers and passengers. This is not negotiable. Remember, your car is covered by the RAA, you are not covered. I'm sorry for this inconvenience but James and I need to be fit and healthy to be able to attend and if we have to self isolate, you, the members, will have to wait for a very long time for help.
From a workshop perspective, the doors will remain open for the forseeable future. We're still servicing and repairing cars and as usual, if the doors are shut, we are on a callout so please ring me if you need help. It hasn't slowed down too much yet but it will because everyone should be doing the right thing and STAYING HOME!
While we're on the subject of STAYING HOME!, we have been picking up cars from home, servicing them and/or repairing them and delivering them in Normanville and Yankalilla for free and to make sure you STAY HOME, we will continue to do this free delivery PLUS, all next week, 30th March to 3rd April, we are offering 20% off servicing your car. All we ask is that you STAY HOME and sanitize your steering wheel, gear k**b and door handles. We'll do the same when we drop it off. This deal is for one week and for Normanville and Yankalilla areas only.
Finally, not only to our valued customers, but to everyone, please be safe, virus wise, and smart. Oh, and STAY HOME!
Kindest regards,
Paul
