Your gauges are talking to you. Are you listening? 👀

✔️ Oil pressure drop - stop and check immediately, don't wait
✔️ Rising coolant temp - check raw water flow and impeller first
✔️ Unexpected RPM drop under load - check for a fouled prop or fuel restriction
✔️ Exhaust smoke colour change - can point to a fuel, air or timing issue

Seeing something odd on your gauges?
Don't wait until haul-out.
