We’re making a positive change at Mueller Automotive!

From next month, our workshop will be moving to a 4-day working week, with longer opening hours Monday to Thursday:

📅 Monday – Thursday
⏰ 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
🚗 Friday – Closed

Why the change?

As a family-owned local business, we believe that looking after our team is just as important as looking after our customers.

These new hours will allow our employees to enjoy a better work-life balance, while our longer days give customers more flexibility to drop off and collect their vehicles before or after work.

A happier, well-rested team means better focus, better productivity and the same quality workmanship and service our community knows us for. 🔧🚙

We’re proud to keep growing and finding better ways to serve our customers while creating a great workplace for our team.

🚗 WE'RE HIRING – LIGHT VEHICLE MECHANIC 🔧

Mueller Automotive is looking for a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing team in Cairns.

What we offer:
• Full-time, permanent position
• Competitive salary of $65,000–$90,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
• Modern, well-equipped workshop
• Supportive team environment
• Ongoing training and career development
• Sponsorship opportunities may be available for the right applicant

About you:
• Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic (Certificate III or equivalent)
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Reliable, motivated and takes pride in quality workmanship
• Current Australian driver's licence (or ability to obtain one)
• Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
