Good morning everyone.
At last nights club meeting, some information was discussed in regards to round 3 of the qld champs run by MGCCQ.
We are posting these to make sure our drivers don't miss some of these things.

1- DRIVER BRIEFING WILL BE EARLY SATURDAY 'BEFORE' QUALIFYING. Normally this has been done between qualy and racing. not this time! NO SAT SLEEP IN!!!! And make sure you sign the sheet saying you attended. There is a fine if you don't attend.

2- Make sure your car is all up to date with the rules as stated on the self regulation scrutineering form. If you say its good, and its not to spec (especially safety equipment!!!) then penalties will be applied. Including the correct window nets installed!

3- Make sure all the signage on the car is current and up to date. It was brought to our attention that some vehicles didn't have tow point stickers, etc in place. These are to assist in the recovery of your vehicle when its not going anymore.

4- Make sure your external kill switch handle is on the drivers side of the car, as per the M.A rules.

As always, we post these comments not to annoy anyone, but to make sure our racing is as smooth running and fun as possible!

Just days away from round 2!!! we have 40 cars entered once again, which makes us once again 25% of the event!! Some new drivers have joined our series, so let's make sure we make them feel welcome!!
The BBQ will be happening again on friday afternoon. Everyone who attended the last one had a good time, even in the rain. This weekend will hopefully be dry, so we shouldn't have the dramas.

Entries are open for round 2 of the QLD state circuit Championships!!! Head to the Motorsport Australia Online Portal to lodge your entries.
(Word has is that accommodation is mostly booked out in Warwick due to another event. Camping is available at the track for the weekend.)
The I do car loans pole position is up for grabs again, along with the fun Qualy Lotto from Cleanup Skip Bins and Hairologists!!!
