Hunts Marine Wollongong is on the lookout for an apprentice — school leaver, career changer, or anyone keen to start fresh in the marine trade. No experience required — just a boat licence and a genuine interest in boating and fishing.
Based at our Yallah workshop, just 20 mins south of Wollongong, you'll be:
• Assisting qualified technicians with outboard servicing and repairs
• Learning rigging, basic diagnostics, and workshop processes
• General workshop support tasks while training

About you:
• Keen interest in boating/fishing
• Boat licence
• Willingness to learn
• Sharp attention to detail

What's on offer:
• Above award wages
• Full-time, with possible overtime
• Fishing weekends with the team
• Personal use of demo boats
• Hands-on experience with Australia’s leading marine brands - Yamaha, Cruise Craft, Extreme Boats and Quintrex

We're looking for a qualified marine technician or auto technician ready for a change to join our workshop. Outboard servicing experience is favourable, and you'll need a boat licence and a genuine interest in boating and fishing.
Based at our Yallah workshop, just 20 mins south of Wollongong you'll be:
• Servicing and repairing outboard motors
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs across the brands we represent
• Rigging new boats
• Servicing Trailers
• On water testing boats
• Working alongside the team on day-to-day workshop jobs
What we need:
• Keen interest in boating/fishing
• NSW driver’s licence
• Boat licence
• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Sharp attention to detail
• Outboard servicing experience favourable

What's on offer:
• Above award wages. Relocation assistance may be available for the right person.
• Full-time, with possible overtime
• Fishing weekends with the team
