Not the start to the day we had planned.

This morning our work ute was stolen and later crashed. While it’s frustrating to lose a vehicle that’s part of our everyday operations, we’re incredibly thankful that no innocent members of the community were injured.

A big thank you to Dapto Police for their quick action. We understand the offender has been apprehended.

We’ve also been overwhelmed by the number of messages from locals checking in on us today — thank you. It really shows what a great community Dapto is.

For anyone who may be wondering, we are still open and operating as normal, continuing to look after our customers across Fennell Automotive and Dapto Discount Tyres.

The ute might be out of action for now, but we’re still here and still working hard to keep Dapto moving.
