Pro Shop is a non for profit foundation who specialise in designing and creating anything you can imagine. We offer our workshop, tools, equipment and our wisdom to anyone who has got an idea they want to create. If you have a dream, you can build it yourself here or have us help you on your project. Managed to build and install two new additions to the workshop over the break. A 3000 x 1200 fixture table and new 2 post hoist. More room for more equipment equals more projects.

With one car off to paint another one returns. The HR Holden has been stripped of all its parts, mounted to a trolley and is finally off to the paint shop. All the parts are packed up and stored away waiting for it’s return. While we wait the 69 Camaro is back with its fresh new paint job. Latest video out now on YouTube.

Up next on the chopping block is another Holden EH ute. This one will be a little different as it will be having an Nissan RB26 motor, 370Z 6 speed manual, 4 linked 9 inch and a custom front end. Follow the build on our YouTube channel. Link in the bio.

The last few modifications are finally done so now it’s time to strip the HR down and send it off to paint. The grill was customised by deleting the blinkers, the quarter windows were removed and power windows with one piece glass was added and the old tailgate stay was upgraded to a late model one. If you can’t find the air vents to suit the build then the only option is to fabricate them. Quite pleased how these air vents turned out for the HR. I welded them into the dash and console so they could then be painted along with the rest of the car.

Back in 2019 I built a full metal wide body for this R33 GTR Skyline and this year it finally hit the track. With a personal best of 6.77 @ 207mph it’s less than half a second from the world record. It only came back here so I could finish building some inner guards for the front. The guys at Croydon Racing Development did an amazing job on this car. Last bit of fab work to be done on the HR was to make up the dual cold air intake. It was never going to fit with the original manifold and throttle body so it was decided to upgrade them both to a manifold and throttle body and Y piece as they are a lot shorter than the original. First timing using the tacking band clamps too. Highly recommended. It’s like having another pair of hands.

It’s been gone a while but the HR is finally back and we are taking it to the next level. It’s time to finish the loose ends, fit some new parts and a couple of upgrades like A/C, power windows, new manifold with a custom cold air intake, estopp handbrake, hidden bonnet release, custom switches, fit the computer and all the wiring plus more. A few jobs that have to be done on this is make it steer and stop but before I put the pedal box and column in I have to convert it to . A lot of sectioning, sheeting and shaping went into this conversion and it came out sweet. Once the wipers, A/C unit and 90 degree under dash pedal box are fitted there’s not a lot of room left.

Next big project here is this 57 Chev Bel Air. With a blown 6L and all the best catalog parts you can buy this will be a sweet ride when it’s done. One thing about building an American car in Australia is weighing up if it’s better to buy parts from the US or to just make them here. Shipping a fuel tank for example was going to cost too much so I decided just to fabricate one.

WE HAVE MOVED!!! Finally after years of battling with not enough space plus dealing with 3 floods in 14 months I have moved to higher ground. Bigger workshop means more projects, more machinery and more fun. It’s been a while since I posted anything but I’m back in full swing. New video out soon on YouTube. Link in bio.
