You always see posts about what has just been built, how good it looks, how it's going to turn heads etc, etc. But what about, say, four or five years down the track?
What was the outcome of the build?
How is it standing up and what about the return on the investment?
Well, we built this unit for Benjamin Haulage back in late 2020 and was put to work in 2021. The suggested “close to 40t” in the post for this unit has returned an average of 43.5t! An extra 3.5 tonne over expectations.
Not to mention on occasions, Ben has also achieved maximum payloads of 43.9t! Stack that up after 5 years and do the numbers!
The K200 was recently replaced and only comes out to play on weekends, as Ben coupled his reliable Borcat 5-axle dog to his new Kenworth T610. And, even with his new bonneted donk, he’s still up there achieving the same 43.5t average net payload out of the quarry!
