Roof insert template , (after many hours of fitting, trimming, then refitting marking, and retrimming, is now very snug and ready for final 3mm alloy final piece,... back doors have been patched, lengthened to suit, ... now for roof bogging, shaping and sanding

Okay... alloy trim made and installed to suit 3mm thick alloy roof insert... fibreglassing and fibre bogging to do now and make accurate template for insert

Well, a crazy weekends work on the van comes to a close.... a huge thanks to Mark Davo Davison and Mike Inwood for fantastic work and helping get a few things done I couldn't do on my own... plenty of progress... panels made and welded in, roof dzus plates fitted, rear doors plates installed, body removal fram made, and a few other little brackets etc made.... now for the filling and more bodywork....

Okay, it's been a while since posting anything of significance.... but cricket season is over and playing retirement is done.... so we're back into bodywork on the van.... a couple of mates dropping down this weekend to do some welding and panel work , and hopefully get diff housing back in the car with centre completed ...

Powerslave 3 came back home last weekend for some R&R from chassis shop. Time for serious body work and fitting of a few things. Thanks to Mike Inwood and Mark Davison for helping load and transport the car in pretty bad weather.... long way to go, but time for tinkering and many hours in the shed massaging and fitting of bodywork panels, rear doors, roof, brackets, tanks, Brakes, electrics and heaps more...

Front end body work being lightened and fitted... altering front header pope on each side and connect the dots... nearly there....

A quick visit to to see progress on Powerslave III,...and do a final fitting check for Shifter, Steering wheel, seat, & pedals. Both doors now open and close and lift off easily when needed. Windscreen fitted. Still have to fit and alter front end metal work, rear doors and wheelie bars etc.... Hopefully bringing home within a month to work on bodywork, (big job in itself),..and clean and prep things for paint before it goes back later on for final fitting of everything else to make it a roller .

Tin work and tubs are just about done. Front end panels to be fitted, with doors , locks and rear doors to be fitted...

A lot of the fiddly parts are well on way to completion... Brakes done, persex windows shaped and cut, all welding done. Starting to look the part now,.. front end body work is going to be a bit tricky but I'm sure it will come together. Still things to do,... rear tubs, wheelie bars, and mounting of a few remaining items....
