Goodbye Ferntree Gully, hello Ballarat!

The move to Ballarat is well and truly underway.

We hope to have as little disruption to production as possible, but please be patient with us while we get everything set up in Wendouree.

Our phones should be up and running early-mid next week.

CLIVE CAMS IS MOVING!

As of Monday 6th November 2023, Clive Cams will be operating from their new premises in Ballarat.

From this date onwards, all parcels will need to be sent to our new premises as follows:
Factory 1/821B Howitt Street
Wendouree
VIC 3355

Our phone number and email address will remain the same.

Parcels can be sent via all major freight companies (Australia Post, Couriers Please, TNT/FedEx, etc.).

Please note that there will be some downtime while we move and setup the new premises, however we do hope to keep this at a minimum.

CLIVE CAMS UPDATE!

Clive is pleased to announce that Clive Cams has been sold to Damian and Sandra from M & W Engine Services.

Damian and Sandra, along with their business partner Zach, will take over Clive Cams on 1st July 2023.

M & W Engine Services have been trading since 1984 and both Damian and Zach bring with them a wealth of automotive and engine reconditioning knowledge.

Zach will be working closely with Clive throughout June and Clive will continue working with the new owners for several months to ensure a smooth transition process and to impart as much knowledge and wisdom as possible.

Damian, Sandra and Zach are excited to continue the Clive Cams legacy and are committed to operating Clive Cams with the same high level of service and customer satisfaction that our customers are used to.

For the time being, Clive Cams will continue to operate from our Ferntree Gully location, however will re-locate to Ballarat later in the year. Our phone number and email address remain the same.

Clive Cams will start accepting new work and orders as of Monday 3rd July 2023.

Clive would once again like to thank all of our customers for their ongoing support and custom over the years.

Clive Cams is seeking an automotive mechanic or engine reconditioner to work as a full time camshaft grinder within our small business located in Ferntree Gully.

Responsibilities:
•Operating machinery – camshaft grinder, follower/lifter refacer, rocker refacer, lathe, milling machine and Audi Pro cam checking machine
•Welding
•Learn our vast range of profiles to assist customers with recommendations
•Answering the phone when required

Applicants must be neat, honest, reliable, highly motivated, have good communication skills and have a genuine interest in cars. A qualified motor mechanic or engine reconditioner is preferred, however applicants with extensive mechanical experience will also be considered. Computer skills are advantageous.

No experience in camshaft grinding is required as full training will be provided.

Wow! Only six weeks until Christmas!
If you are looking to get a cam ground before Christmas, now is the time to start planning. We will stop taking orders for pre-Christmas completion at least 1-2 weeks prior to Christmas (depending on how busy we get). Also keep in mind that Australia Post may take a little longer with deliveries during this busy period, so the more time allowed, the better.

Recently, we were asked to produce a new cam for a customer who was building a Holden V12 LS1 engine. After a lot of hard work, the engine has finally been completed and we think it looks and sounds great! Street Machine has written an article on the engine, complete with photos and video.
