**What an incredible weekend and an even more incredible cause. 💙**

As an artist, it's easy to think that what I do is "just paint." But every now and then, a project comes along that reminds me art can be so much more. It can start conversations, bring people together, and help make a real difference.

Creating the artwork for the Pilbara Pig **"It Ain't Weak to Speak"** burnout car was one of those projects I'll never forget. Seeing the Blue Skid light up the track, surrounded by a sea of blue smoke and a community rallying behind such an important message, was incredibly moving.

I'm so grateful to have been part of a collaboration that was bigger than any one person.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported this initiative, and especially to the businesses that helped bring the vision to life:

This project has reminded me why I love creating public art. It's not just about colour on a canvas or paint on a car—it's about telling stories that matter, creating connections, and using creativity to inspire conversations that can change lives.

Thank you for trusting **Melani Robertson Art** with such an important message. I'm incredibly proud to have played a small part in something that has had such a big impact.

Because at the end of the day, the message is simple...

Our admin team is available to answer any inquiries around the Easter break, but our opening hours have changed over the Easter break:

Thursday 2nd April: 9:00am to 5pm

Good Friday: CLOSED

Easter Monday: CLOSED

Tuesday 7th April: 8:30am to 5pm

Our regular office trading hours will resume on the 7th of April 2026.
