And just like the Warwick Kart Club Junior Top Guns is run and done. An incredible job by the club to put on 2 days of awesome racing with 170 entries.

Cadet 9P 🥈
- Nate Van Twest was the class of the field, qualifying on pole by 8 tenths of a second, and securing that $100 pole award! He dominated racing, but an unfortunate incident with a lapped kart relegated him to second. Great driving Natey!

Cadet 9 🥇
- Cooper Van Twest was near perfect taking home a dominant win in Cadet 9, with some seriously impressive passing, showing he’s a real force in this class, taking home that sweet $250 cheque!

Cadet 12 🏎️
- Hunter Hobbs battled through some setup challenges to set a PB in qualifying to position himself 10th. With most of the top 10 being National level racers he battled hard, learning lots of lessons to PB again, only 4 tenths off the leaders in the final and race his way back to 10th. A great start to his first year in the class

TaG Medium 🥇
- Nick Hobbs was able to take a hard earned win, with a strong field including a couple of state title holders

What a weekend, thanks to all our helpers who make it possible to go in circles quickly!

Toowoomba & Lockyer Valley Kart Club was the venue for our next attack this year.

We had Hunter Hobbs having his second go ever at the great Greer Park Raceway on Saturday, consistently bringing his times down with his new spanner girl. Although he didnt race hes excited to get back there!

Team Van Twest had a great race meet Sunday with Cooper taking away P1 in the very quick Cadet 9 pack.

Nate took away 4th in Cadet 9P but with the second fastest lap of the final!

Bring on our next meeting, over two days for the Warwick Junior Top Guns!

We’ve finally dried out from what was a very wet Round 2 at Warwick Kart Club!

Saturday practice have mixed conditions, and Sunday was even worse! Race one in dry conditions, with progressively worse heavy rain throughout the heats. But as they say there’s no better wet practice then wet practice and each race came with really positive improvements.

Australia Day weekend means Round 1 of the Warwick Kart Club Championship.

Hunter Hobbs making big gains to finish P2 in his first official Cadet 12 race.

Cooper Van Twest also taking home a strong P2 with pace to win the weekend.

Nate Van Twest also made his debut in the Cadet class and drove impressively for a 7 year old.

Time for some rest from a 40 degree race day before we go again!
