It is with great sadness that we inform our customers of the passing of Ron Bellingham, Founder and Owner of Southern Downs Mechanical who passed away peacefully on the 27th of April, surrounded by his family.

Ron began his business ventures nearly 68 years ago and he leaves behind a lasting legacy within the Southern Downs community. His strong passion, determination & dedication to his business formed the foundation of his achievements and earned the respect of many.

His family expresses their sincere gratitude for the many kind messages and support received during this time.

A celebration of Ron's life will be held at St Mark's Anglican Church, Warwick on the 14th of May 2026 at 10:30am.

Bellingham & Co and Southern Downs Mechanical will be closed on this day allowing our staff and family to attend the service and honour Ron's life. We sincerely thank you for your understanding during this time. Our team will continue to remain committed to honouring Ron's legacy by upholding the same dedication, service and integrity that he was so proud of. 🤍

The team are over the moon with excitement about how great the last year has been. The last year has been a challenging one for a lot of people that’s for sure but amongst these challenges a lot of exciting things have happened.
