What do you do when you're away for a long weekend and you can't ride? You go look at bikes 😉 (and other things!)
Superb morning at the Gold Coast Motor Museum wandering through their incredible displays and relaxing at Stanley's Barn for a light lunch and drinks.

If you have a vintage piece that you've been deciding if you should look at displaying it, these guys are excellent caretakers. Every display is immaculate!

Stanley's is so relaxing and has the most beautiful atmosphere. Lovely staff and divine food.

I've ridden out this way over Tambo and Beechy plenty of times and never even knew this place existed!

While I'm recovering and not able to do much, the boys have stripped my new beast down to the frame to have a fresh coat of paint on the fairings and a full going over.

✅ Service
✅ New levers (little hands!)
✅ Brake bleed & calliper service
✅ Bolt check & tighten
✅ New exhaust
✅ Injector clean
✅ Full internal (under bodywork) clean

Still can't believe I'm going to be tracking an original KTM RC8 1190!! 😱😍🤍🧡

We'll be taking both KTMs to The Bend Motorsport Park in November to tackle 3 days of the International Circuit.

Can.
Not.
Wait.

Now to hurry up an heal so we can get to know each other better 🥰

Getting to the edge of these 60 profile Rosso IV's is HARD. Quicker tip in but much harder to get right to the edge.
I'm pit bitching today for the Moore Track Toys team after a very hot day yesterday and not much sleep due to wrist pain.
Yesterday was my last track day before surgery and I'll be back hopefully in July! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Sometimes, you just need to be the saviour.
As we left MP this afternoon we noticed a fellow rider on the side of the road near the gate who had tragically lost a wheel off his trailer. 😳

The bearings had seized and the wheel sheared off.
Thanks to the guys in the maintenance shed at MP who leant us a grinder to remove the buggered bearings.
After some effort and patience we managed to get them off and get over to a local bearing shop to have them replaced.
After a bit of back and forth between the bearing shop and a local maintenance shop we managed to get new bearings fitted to the hub and back on the axel.
A bit of love and the wheel was finally back on.

3 hours later and just in time for a drink and a good feed!

Well done to iRider for all his efforts.
