The fashions at the 2026 TAB May Racing Carnival reached a whole new level this year, and the Quest Warrnambool Fashions on the Field competition certainly reflected the glamour and style on show across the Carnival.
A massive thank you to our Major Sponsor, Quest Warrnambool, for their continued support of Fashions on the Field and helping bring this incredible showcase to life.
Congratulations to our Sacks Jewellers Lady of the Day winner, Bridget Woolston, with Ruth Kaguramamba named runner-up. In the Warrnambool and Portland Eyecare Traditional Lady category, Rachel Reynolds claimed top honours ahead of Belinda Nurse in second place. Sharon Smith took out the Miss Kit Warrnambool Contemporary Lady title, with Michelle Butters awarded runner-up.
The Elm Lifestyle Most Spectacular Hat category wowed the judges, with Karlie Owen claiming the win thanks to her perfectly coordinated look, while runner-up Myra Murrihy impressed in an outfit crafted by local artists. The gents also brought their A-game in the Clanceys Menswear Dapper Chap category, with Michael Atkinson taking home the title, ahead of runners-up Gwyn Askham and Jack Franco.
Each year, Fashions on the Field at the TAB May Racing Carnival continues to grow bigger, bolder and more glamorous — and we already can’t wait to see the incredible styles on show again in 2027.
