When was the last time your suspension got serviced and how often do you normally get it done?
With prime riding weather lately, it’s easy to rack up the hours without thinking to much about it.
Noticed any of these lately?
* Bike feels harsher or more vague
* Bottoming out more than usual
* Oil around the seals
* Just not tracking like it used to
These are all signs that you. Oils be sure for a service, even if it still feels “fine,” performance quietly drops off over time because just like engine oil, suspension oil loses its properties over time and performance drops off.
A solid rule of thumb:
15–25 hours of racing/training, or 30–40 hours of recreational riding.
Not sure how many hours you’ve done? That’s usually a good sign it’s time to get it looked at.
