The big girl has done it again! Fresh off a 1st place finish in the HillFab Unlimited class last month at Ultimate Rock Crawling. We’ve gone 2 from 2 and taken out the Team Bullet 24hr drive till ya drop challenge.
A very Last minute spotter change seen Taite chuck the helmet on, some very minimal prep work but the car drove almost faultlessly the entire time!
We drove every obstacle on every course, no winching, no cones, the only issue being we tagged (or I should say collided) with a stump on the speed course and needed a couple of plugs chucked in to keep the water and air in!
And yes, we drove Forbidden Candy again. Although may have fallen in this time. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣
I should probably also mention this big obnoxious rock crawler with 500kg of water in the tires managed to beat an Ultra4 based rig on the speed stage by nearly 30seconds! (Love you Blake! 😘😆)
This round was a cool little state of origin challenge as well with a bunch of banana benders coming down to battle the colder nights. And I can proudly say NSW took it home!
Thanks Denny for a fun weekend! And always an absolute blast catching up with the crawler fam! 🫶🏼
Now the prep work begins for Wild Dog Winch Challenge in 2 weeks!

The Rampt rock dash for cash!
Yip $750 cash in total.
Details are as follows
On this winch wall there will be a painted section that no one has driven yet, no its not where Hooked4x4 got up at round 2 its right beside it.
From lap 6-8 so 3 laps any of our races can have a crack at claiming the $750.
It will be judged as we have 4 categories, it will be the judges final decision on who takes the cash.
Its simple drive it and and no one else does you win. If multiple cars drive it then it comes down to the judge and how they thought the class car went doing it.
Only 1 way to win and thats by having a go.

The Team Bullet 24hr drive till ya drop challenge.
We’re a bit over half way through starting at 7.30 this morning.
We’re doing a cool state of origin theme this round with a bunch of QLD teams making the trip down.
Denny had a spectacular roll on Crawler Lane. But I feel sorry for the bloke. Zoom in, he’s covered in gear oil!
If I’m not mistaken, I believe the Rampt Racing buggy may currently be in first spot!
Well what the night brings!

Still chasing an owner for this 80 series chassis with a super spicy rear end!
Upon purchase all fab work will be completed, which will consist of:
-96 chassis
-4link rear
-2.5x14” fox coilovers
-2x2 hydro bumps
-custom torsion bar sway bar set.
-2” 7075 lowers
-1.75” 7075 uppers
-a cruiser rear diff housing with all bracketry and fab work done
-a coilover shock tower
-all welding completed for rear end.

Near 16k kit by itself, 15k sale price coz this needs to go!
Thats the whole rear end kit, plus a house by, plus the chassis, plus the install!

The JBI chassis is something we’ve wanted to do for basically a decade.
2-3 weeks ago we released it to the world definitely a lot less complete in physical form then what we wanted, but had to take the opportunity to showcase at the ultimate rock crawling event!
The over all goal with these frames is to make it easier for you at home to get the car built. JBI, stands for Just Build It!
So one aspect we’ve been working on is simple link and bracket kits to be able to use factory housings.
The rear drag axle we currently have GQ or GU basically dialled. Remove the factory junk, clean the housing up, minimal work required to get the new bracketry where it needs to be!
As time progresses the database will grow so that any combo of parts can be used.
Keep the rego for the trailer, and come have more fun!
