Today marks 10 years. What started as a dream, followed by determination and a leap into the unknown. Today is the day Kurt put everything he had into something he loved doing and opened the doors to Mini Fab.

10 years of business has taught him a lot. It’s not an easy road but it’s the road he dreamt of being on and he never forgot where he wanted to be. If you had come to the shop in the early days, you would have been meet by young Kurt.

Confident to give anything a go and help anyone. With the attitude that if there’s a problem, there’s always a solution. That was his mindset to build a successful business.

3 years ago, Dylan wanted a career change. January 2023 Dylan started full time with Kurt at Mini Fab to run the mechanical side of the business with the same passion and drive as he had. They were now a Team

Not long after, August 2023, Lyn (which everyone also knows as Mum), left her job to help out full time in the office. Late 2023 they moved into our big shop at Beresfield. Optimistic but ready to grow even bigger and see where it took them. With a big new shop. They needed more manpower. This is when their older brother Clint come on board in early 2024, and then middle of 2025 their first year apprentice Zakk, stepped up and helped the team grow stronger. Late 2025 they had the opportunity to take on shed 2 to expand and dedicate the fab shop to one shed while keeping mechanical in shed 1.

With the expansion into shed 2, they needed more manpower once again. Lachlan start with them to help smash out the growing amount of fab work.

This brings us to our next chapter 😎

Mini Fab knocking out a few big jobs at the start of this week 💪🏼

R51 Nissan Pathfinder in for oil leak repairs. With this vehicle we previously inspected the oil leaks and gave the customer 2 options moving forward with the repairs.

The customer opted to have the timing chains replaced at the same time as repairing the oil leaks and thank god we did! Finding the lower chain stretched causing significant damage to the chain tensioner guide 🙃

Fitting up all new seals and upgraded to a dual row timing chain kit we had it running better than ever and no more leaks 😮‍💨

2018 Ford Ranger Raptor in for our wet belt to package and an auto service 😎

Using all genuine parts we knocked this job out replacing both belts and tensioner, new timing case and sump pan, customer opted for new water pump and drive belts while we were there ✅

Timing is essential to engine heath, don’t leave it too late before getting repairs as it can be catastrophic to the engine leaving you stranded 😭

Dave’s HQ Ute has been an epic 4 week build getting it ready for 38. Old school cool build with a touch of modern tech without disturbing the originality of this insane car with so much character.

Powered by built 355ci Holden v8.
9inch and traction bars.

Powder coating done by

Massive effort from all involved to get this car knocked out in such a short time frame. Time for Dave to get this thing out and start enjoying this insane streeter😎
