This one is for the Holden fans but with the demise of our local car manufacturing industry, I think we all share an equal admiration of locally built cars irrespective of brand.

This VY Calais (V6 Supercharged) finished in Bermuda Blue received some fresh paint to thinner areas (tops of front and rear guards) with the job of extracting overall shine left to me.

You definitely get a spring in your step when you begin to see the results from removing scratches, sanding marks, water spotting and oxidation and unlocking that beautiful metallic blue. Topped of with NV Lustre to keep it looking shiny and slick to the touch.

The new owner has received plenty of positive comments since I returned the car, enjoying driving to and from work most days of the week.

A good friend asked me to go over his XR8 and prep it for his upcoming wedding.

Car was very clean to begin with so I paid particular attention to improving the clarity of the paint (especially roof, bonnet and boot) due to some slight oxidation creeping in.

Door jambs were thoroughly cleaned to remove the rubber marks, badges were removed, areas buffed and carefully reattached and interior fully detailed.

Finishing touches included carefully touching up stone chips, thoroughly cleaning the glass and applying NV Lustre to give it additional gloss and slickness.

The car looked fantastic on the day.

First generation Audi R8 in Ice Silver Metallic with Carbon Sigma side blades.

This 4.2 V8 has a performance exhaust and sounds like a race car! Coupled with a rare manual transmission, it is an absolute head turner which I’ve had the privilege to drive.

I spent a couple of days performing a single stage paint correction, cleaning up the black flaking badges and re-clearing the front bumper canards.

Icing on the cake was the application of CQuartz Professional to lock in the gloss and clarity, making future washes a breeze.

Second Zeekr 7X Performance AWD from the same family.

This one is adorned in Brook Blue with Silver roof (other one was Forest Green) and was completed a little while ago.

The customer chose my Summit Coating package utilising CarPro products and covers paint, plastics, glass and wheel faces keeping everything cleaner for longer and making washing an easier process.

All my packages come with my maintenance kit (wash mitt, ph neutral wash and drying towel) plus first wash to ensure all coatings are working as intended.

The new owner of this Hermosa Blue Pearl Nissan Patrol Y62 wanted a complete freshen up after picking up the keys from previous (first) owner.

Roof and bonnet had bonded contaminates that needed a clay but the rest of the car responded well to a medium cut and polish. Gloss and clarity locked in with CarPro CQuartz Professional.

The light coloured interior also received a deep clean and coated with CarPro Leather to keep the leather soft and minimise dye transfer.

It was great to have the owner involved in the first wash (complimentary with all my coating packages) and ask plenty of questions so he could get the most out of the coatings.

Stunning Ferrari 360 Modena in Grigio Titanio (Titanium Grey) through the workshop a little while ago.

Paint corrected to remove minor swirls and holograms really amplified the modern colour and the gloss levels were then locked in with Nv Lustre spray sealant. Interior and engine bay detail finishes it off nicely!

A family friend from WA wanted a V series panel van. However, as the business which converts them is based in Melbourne, it made sense to buy the donor vehicle here and ship it back to WA when finished.

So after sourcing a VF Series 2 SSV Ute in Heron white, it was dropped off at V-Antz in Campbellfield where Anthony and his son Joshua produced and installed the panel van canopy.

Once completed, it came back to me so I could give it a final detail including paint correcting the original paintwork before being loaded on to an interstate trailer for the long trip to Perth.

Final couple of photos show it with the cool ‘Sandman’ retro decals which now adorn it as it drives around the streets of Perth.

Brand new Kia Sorento GT Line in classy Aurora Black Pearl.

Interesting back story to this one.

The tint and coating applied through the dealership was sub standard so a full refund was provided and the owners sourced professional businesses to remove/reapply the tint and coating.

Obviously the coating fell to me. I’ve attached some photos showing visible ‘high spots’ ie. coating which has not been correctly levelled/buffed clean. When this dries, it cannot be removed by washing it away. It needs to be buffed off which is what I proceeded to do to the whole vehicle.

Two layers of CARPRO CQuartz Professional now adorns the paint and the owners super happy with both coating and tint (Tint a Car Knoxfield).

The two most frequent comments I received from customers when they viewed this new electric car was:
- wow, I love the colour and;
- what brand of car is that?

A relatively new player in the Australian electric car market is Zeekr (the luxury brand of Geely) with their 7X Performance AWD.

Finished in Forest Green metallic, it received an enhanced external coating package (3 layers in total) plus wheel faces and glass.

The biggest issue for me was trying to take photos of the glossy, curved bodywork without getting my reflection in the background!
