Whole crew here tonight ahead of the Vic Title tomorrow! A few drinks, plenty of laughs, and right where we all want to be. This place brings us together… our happy place. (Promise Lex is alive, just dead to the world, she’s had a massive week, bloody go getter! Parties harder than all of us)

Marc Hanson is having a steer tomorrow, which is seriously bloody cool. Good luck legend! Show your son how it’s really done 😉

Best of luck to all the other drivers, and hats off to Wangaratta Speedway for putting on a great event.

We’re done! I’ve literally got nothing left!!

I don’t think anyone could wipe the smile off my face right now!

Already counting down to the Aussie next year!

I didn’t finish the B Main, the bolts came off the flywheel, but that’s racing. Gave it everything I had.

Tommy finished and drove bloody hard. So proud of you! (Can’t say I bet him in my first Aussie title now though 🤣)

Thank you everyone so, so much; our crew, our family, everyone who supported us this weekend. We couldn’t have done it without you.

But no rest just yet… we go again Wednesday for the Bob Bailey Memorial, and then back into it next Saturday for the Vic Title 💪

Lest we forget ❤️

Today we race for more than just results, we’re racing for our dad. A soldier, our hero, and someone we carry with us in everything we do. This one’s for you Major Warren Charles.

To make it even more special, Tommy and I are running our first Aussie Title together here in Wangaratta, our home track! What an experience it’s been already.

Night one definitely tested us.

Tommy had a tough run with two DNF’s. The first ending in a bit of a fire from a blown power steering hose, and the second cutting out completely. But he came back strong and drove an awesome third heat.

I managed to bring it home in fourth in my first heat after a rough start. The second heat was a battle with the car and losing power steering, but in the third I just sent it. No power steering, just needed to go out, finish and grab those points.

Currently sitting:
Tommy – 57th
Tay – 38th

Massive shoutout to our incredible crew who have worked their absolute guts out!
Shreky, Mick and Leigh, Kial and Nikki, Uncle Aaron, Tash & Manda, Matt & Kaitlyn. We couldn’t do this without you.

The boys are back in the shed now swapping a rack and pump in my car and also getting stuck into Tom’s! Even got Mrs Nikki on the tools! 🔧🪛

Big thank you to Mum/Gran as well for holding down the fort and helping out with the kids so we can be here doing what we love. It means more than you know ❤️

What an unreal journey this is.

We were really saddened to see what happened to one of our major sponsors, Aaron, from Barnard Haulage.

Losing a truck, especially one that’s been such a big part of the business, is devastating, and we can’t imagine how tough that moment would have been. We’re incredibly grateful that everyone is okay, which is what truly matters most.

We want to sincerely thank you for your continued support of our racing. This is our small way of standing by you, just as you’ve stood by us. We wish you, the girls and your business nothing but strength, success, and better days ahead.

Also, a massive shoutout to the CFA brigades for their quick response and incredible work on the day, true hero’s.

Sorry we've been a but quiet on here lately. Two kids, three racecars and a Christmas New Year period has been very full on. We have decided to rebuild both the proddies and not put either back on the track until their both ready to go... At this point, we're hoping to have all three cars out for a run at Wang the last weekend in March. It's going to take a monster effort to get there, but. We have the BEST team supporting, backing and helping us! 🏁

Stay tuned for updates as time allows. No promises. It's gonna be one hell of a road to the Aussie. 💪

Now this is what it’s all about! 🥹🤩

We are beyond proud, all of us, of this little fella and his very first race day. Ryan drove like an absolute weapon all day. He was confident, listened well, and learnt so much throughout the meeting.

Everyone kept asking if we were nervous. We honestly didn’t think we were… until he rolled out for his very first heat. What an emotional moment that was! 🤣

As if our eldest is now racing a bloody car…

To top it all off an already awesome day with a second place and encouragement award, Ryan also took home Best Presented for the night, such a special achievement on his very first outing. A massive well done to Tom and Tash for getting the car looking absolutely schmicko. The hard work, late nights and beverages consumed definitely didn’t go unnoticed. 🤣🫢

The encouragement and support from everyone was incredible, especially from all the other juniors. It was so cool to see. This really is the next generation of racing.

A special mention to everyone who came out to support our young bloke on his big day, especially in the stinking hot weather. It truly means the absolute world to us.

Tom and I would also like to thank all the people who came up to us and praised Ryan’s manners, behaviour, and the way he conducts himself. That feedback means more to us than you could know.

Thank you to Rahmon and Karen for Ryan’s encouragement award and his little interview before the meeting!
