Toyota Prado 2017 2.8L coolant loss.

Customer complains of frequent coolant loss. Brought to the dealer but they only top it up as they can’t find any external leak. Until the engine overheated and eventually won’t start.
Vehicle was then brought to me. Low compression found, engine oil now mixed with coolant, and turbo was seized. Turns out coolant was leaking internally all this time.

The whole engine was then replaced.

Symptoms like these should not be brushed off. Get them thoroughly checked to avoid expensive repair costs!

Customer complains that his aircon is not working. Upon inspection, it’s noted that the condenser is leaking, thus replaced.

Customer came to me with complaints of grinding sound upon braking. He said he just got his brake pads replaced last week somewhere else.

Now look at the photos as the pads werw installed back to front! It has also damaged the rotor discs.

So got them both replaced! 😉
