Wallabadah Jockey Club Inc In 1852 the first and now oldest, Australian country racing club was founded. The racecourse was established at the current location in 1898.

Wallabadah Jockey Club Inc is the oldest, Australian country racing club and was founded in 1852. The Wallabadah Cup is a Picnic Race Meeting which has not only been a spot for race goers on new Year’s Day, but also a Family Day which has brought many people together to celebrate.
