It's always a bit concerning when an aircraft arrives held together with duct tape and hope. A very large repair done on an ASK 21 that suffered a ground loop and damaged the fuselage and right wing tip. Thankfully plastic is fixable. Massive thank you to Waikerie Gliding Club for the loan of WKI as a donor to build a repair jig.

Recently finished the change over of the blower fan pulley on an Austro engine. The old pulley lacked any retention system meaning if the belt tension was too loose, you could lose the belt. Without the blower fan cooling the engine core you have about seven minutes before it seizes up and you need a new engine.

Changing over the belt and pulley is no easy feat, the entire rear section of the engine must be removed making it quite the extensive operation. Much cheaper than a new engine though.
