After 39 years installing windscreens, I’ve never seen one fitted this badly.

The previous installer had even cut into the inner pinch weld—looks like a reciprocating saw was used to rip it out. That’s not just poor workmanship, that’s damaging the vehicle.

The customer was complaining about a leak… and honestly, it’s no surprise why.

Windscreens are a structural part of the vehicle — they must be installed correctly.
It’s not just about stopping leaks… it’s about safety, strength, and doing the job right the first time.

The damage was caused by a bird strike.
In all my years working in the industry, this is definitely one of the worst bird strike impacts I’ve come across.
