🏁 HALF-PRICE RESTRICTED COMPEITION LICENCES ARE BACK! 🏁

Interested in Dirt Karting or thinking about doing some racing before the end of the season? From 1 September 2026, Restricted Licences are available. 🔥

A few important things to remember:
✅ ½ the price of competition (racing) licence.
✅Applications cannot be submitted before 01.09.2026
✅ Licence valid until 31.01.2027
✅ Maximum of 6 race meetings
✅Available only for Competition Licences
✅Please remember you are still required to be a financial member of the DKoA Affiliated Club.

If you’ve been waiting for the right time to get involved, this could be it 👀

Now that the dust has settled, we wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the amazing achievements of our ADKC members at the NT Titles! ❤️🏁

💬 Message from Ty Forrestal-
Stepping Down as ADKC President

To all of our ADKC committee, members and the wider dirt kart community,

I’ve made the difficult decision to step down as President of the Adelaide Dirt Kart Club.

With everything going on in my personal life, I am no longer able to fulfil the role to a level I would be proud of.

Thankfully, Scott Woods has put his hat in the ring, and the committee has voted him in as our interim President until the 2026 AGM, at which point he plans to continue in the role if re-elected.

I will still remain on the general committee and will help out where time permits. The Forrestal family will also continue as ADKC members and competitors, and we’ll support Woodsy in any way we can.

Thank you to everyone for your support over the last 20 months. It’s been a bit of a crazy time, but I’ve really enjoyed it. With everything going on, though, I know I won’t be able to do the job at the level I would be happy with.

See you all at Port Pirie this weekend — really looking forward to that one!

🚨 RACE MEETING CANCELLED 🚨

Mick Bright Memorial

💔 Unfortunately, Mother Nature has been incredibly cruel to our club this season, and sadly this weekend is no different.

The committee has had everything crossed 🤞 all week, hoping the forecast would change. We’ve watched the weather closely, checked every app we could find ☔🌧️, but unfortunately the forecast hasn’t improved.

❌ As a result, this weekend’s race meeting has been CANCELLED. ❌

We wanted to make the call early to give everyone travelling the chance to change their plans and avoid unnecessary costs.

We’re absolutely gutted 😞. We know so many of our members are simply itching to go racing, and so are we. It’s hard to believe we haven’t been able to hit the track since April. 🏁

A huge thank you to everyone for your understanding, patience and continued support of our club. ❤️

🌤️ Here’s hoping Mother Nature finally gives us a break soon so we can get back to what we all love… RACING! 🏎️💨🏁

🌦️ Mother Nature is certainly keeping us on our toes this season! 😅

As we head towards the weekend, we’re keeping a close eye on the forecast (and maybe doing a little rain dance in reverse! 🤞☀️).

At this stage, we’re looking at the possibility of bringing our start time forward a to give ourselves the best chance of getting all the racing in before any afternoon weather rolls through. Nothing has been locked in just yet—we’ll keep monitoring the forecast and let everyone know as soon as we can.

❄️ A massive thank you! ❄️

A huge thank you to everyone who got up on this frosty morning to lend a hand getting the venue into top shape for next weekend’s Mick Bright Memorial. 👏

From mowing and whipper snipping to tidying up around the grounds, your time and effort have made a huge difference. The place looks absolutely amazing, and we couldn’t do it without our incredible volunteers.
