Surface temperature, grip, durability, maintenance, materials and installation quality. There's plenty to consider beyond the finished look.

At Ocean Degree, we've worked with Esthec Yacht Decking for years, designing, fabricating and installing bespoke decks for luxury yacht owners.

Marine research has always been close to our hearts. After all, we work, live and play by the ocean.

Since 1988, the Sea World Foundation has done incredible work in marine research, rescue, and conservation, supporting everything from dugong population studies to humpback whale research.

We're pretty excited to play a small part in that story, with the Ocean Degree crew carrying out repairs and upgrades to one of Sea World's research vessels.

We can't wait to share more behind-the-scenes footage of the work it took to get this boat back on the water.

Stay tuned!

Not near our Gold Coast workshop?

No problem. We can work with your local shipwright using a digitised template to create a custom deck, made to fit.

Tap into Ocean Degree’s CAD + fabrication capability without bringing the boat to our shed.

Design. Fabricate. Pack. Send. Fit.

Simple.

Made to fit the boat, not the other way around.
For the Salt House galley, our team fabricated new benchtops in Staron Solid Surface, shaped to work with the existing cabinetry and layout.

The result is a clean, seamless finish that suits the space and stands up well to everyday use on board.

A fresh finish for one of the hardest-working spaces on board.

Staron Solid Surface was selected for the Salthouse ensuite for its non-porous finish, easy maintenance and suitability for wet areas.

Custom fabricated to give the space a crisp, refined finish without losing practicality.

Hidden TV. Extra bench space. Unobstructed Views. Lots of storage. One smart use of space.

As part of the Salt House refit, the Ocean Degree team created a custom TV cabinet with an integrated lifter, concealed beneath a bench to provide unobstructed views when the TV is away.

Our friends at Pacific Trim finished the bench in two-tone leather to blend with the surrounding lounge area for a seamless finish.

Whether you’re planning a complete redesign or want to elevate one section of your boat, our team can create a custom solution that feels like it was always meant to be there.

It’s a great example of what can be achieved when smart design, skilled craftsmanship and trusted partners unite. With years of hands-on refit experience, we deliver bespoke solutions that bring your vision to life.

Watch resin infusion in action as it transforms into a custom platform.

It's fascinating to see the craftsmanship and advanced techniques come together to make something so functional and elegant.

This advanced composite fabrication process ensures the perfect fibre-to-resin ratio, consistent laminate quality, and impressive strength without adding unnecessary weight.

Achieving this requires careful preparation, precise vacuum control, and a dedicated team that understands the needs of structural yacht refits.

With experienced shipwrights and in-house composite fabrication capability, Ocean Degree Yacht Services can take on complex custom yacht modifications from fabrication through to final installation.

Ready to take your vessel to a new level? Call Ocean Degree for your refit.

A first look at what’s taking shape for this luxury motor yacht.

Vacuum infusion uses controlled pressure to draw resin through the dry reinforcement, creating a well-consolidated composite structure with consistent resin distribution and an excellent strength-to-weight ratio.

For a custom hydraulic swim platform, every kilogram and every layer matter. More from behind the build is coming tomorrow.
