Finally managed to get the 635csi back on the hoist and get the gearbox out to work out why the clutch wouldn’t not disengage, well it turns out whoever put it back together didn’t check if the thrust bearing was fitted the right way, meaning the thrust bearing sits 25mm further away from the clutch plate, meaning there was no way the clutch slave could push far enough to disengage the clutch!! 🤬

The Kakadu is almost down to bare timbers now, time to start planning out what layout we want, wiring to get sorted, discovered that the auction houses seem to have a theft issue, the inverter has been stolen as has one of the batteries, so out of the 4 vans I have purchased, 3 of them have had, batteries, inverters, wheels, gas set ups and front boxes stolen off them, I have lodged a complaint with both auction companies, but don’t like my chances of compensation, so heads up if your buying from Auction, check those parts
