After a great deal of consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cease trading through North Queensland Automotive and Fleet Services Pty Ltd (NQAF).

NQAF is not being wound up. This is a strategic decision to step away from automotive servicing and focus our time, people and resources on the area where we see the strongest future: professional mechanical engineering services through Northern Australian Tactical Engineering Pty Ltd (NATE NQ).

We are incredibly proud of what the NQAF team achieved. Many of our people made the transition from AEV and backed us as we started this new chapter. They gave it everything—and we had a bloody good crack.

This decision is not a reflection of our team or the quality of their work. It reflects the realities of the Townsville automotive-services market and the greater opportunities we see in professional mechanical engineering.

To our customers, suppliers, friends and everyone who supported NQAF, thank you. We genuinely appreciate the trust you placed in us and the support you showed our people.

NATE NQ will continue operating from the same facility, with our focus moving fully toward professional mechanical engineering services.

This has not been an easy decision, but we believe it is the right one for our people and our future.

Our in-house engineers at Northern Australia Tactical Engineering - NATE doing what they do best.

NATE has been working with JMACX Offroad Solutions, undertaking VSB 14 LT2 torsional rigidity testing on its INEOS Grenadier chassis-extension conversion.

This testing provides measurable engineering evidence to support the vehicle’s post-registration approval pathway.

While on site, we have also completed ADR 83 external noise testing and other quantitative vehicle testing.

NATE specialises in high-end vehicle testing that combines practical experience, professional engineering and verifiable results.

We are proud to support JMACX and Australian-engineered vehicle solutions.
