Like most businesses, the cost of keeping the workshop running and maintaining the standard of work weโ€™re proud to put our name to has increased. Weโ€™ve held off on this change for as long as we could.

A huge thank you to all of our customers for continuing to support Mortyโ€™s. We genuinely appreciate every vehicle you trust us with.

A couple of bigger jobs through the Mortyโ€™s workshop recently!

First up, a ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐š๐ง ๐๐š๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ ๐™๐ƒ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ in for some head work. We fitted a fully assembled replacement head along with all new gaskets.

We also had a ๐Œ๐ข๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐›๐ข๐ฌ๐ก๐ข ๐€๐’๐— come in with oil getting into the coolant โ€” not something you want to see!

After running some diagnostics, we traced the problem back to a leaking head gasket.

The head was removed and sent away to be skimmed and pressure tested. It came back all good, so we fitted new gaskets, reassembled everything, then gave both the radiator and engine a good flush to clean out the contaminated oil and coolant.

If something doesnโ€™t look, sound or feel right with your vehicle, get Dylan to have a look before a small problem turns into a big one.
